The Carolina Panthers needed to pack a heavy punch to pull off a major upset here in Week 13. And luckily for them, they landed awfully hard on the visiting Los Angeles Rams at Bank of America Stadium.
Here are our studs and duds from Sunday's 31-28 win . . .

When trailing during the back-and-forth affair, Young completed eight of his 10 throws for 167 yards, two touchdowns and a perfect 158.3 passer rating. In all, he finished with a career-high 147.1 passer rating, an average of 10.3 yards per attempt and three scores.
Stud: RB Chuba Hubbard
Hubbard looked the best he has all season, rushing for 83 yards on 17 carries. He was also on the receiving end of Young's first touchdown throw, a 35-yarder in the opening quarter.
Dud: RB Rico Dowdle
There's no doubt that Dowdle helped contribute to the successful ground-and-pound approach, notching 58 yards on 18 totes. But he recorded just 3.2 yards per carry on the day.

Stud: WR Jalen Coker
Coker had his best performance of the campaign, with a team-high 74 yards and a touchdown on four grabs. His score came on a 33-yard conversion on a fourth-and-3.
Plus, his 10-yard reception on a third-and-5 before the last two-minute warning clinched the victory.
Dud: WR Xavier Legette
Legette continues to be a non-factor in the passing game, as he reeled in one catch for one yard. He has now gone for 22 receiving yards or less in eight of his 11 games this season.

Brown had a hand (and a head) in two of Carolina's three takeaways.
A first-quarter pass from Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford deflected off his face mask and into the hands of safety Nick Scott for a pick. Brown then pushed through for a strip-sack to help ice the game late in the fourth quarter.
Stud: S Lathan Ransom
Ransom stepped up in the absence of safety Tre'von Moehrig. The 2025 fourth-round pick collected a team-high 11 tackles and a sack.
