Real Madrid have some important decisions to make leading up to the January transfer window, for there are some disgruntled players in the squad.

Endrick, who has barely played this season under Xabi Alonso, appears all set to leave for Olympique Lyon on loan.

Meanwhile, there are other players such as Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo Goes, Brahim Diaz, and Gonzalo Garcia who have been struggling for minutes under the Spanish tactician and might consider the possibility of an exit.

Gonzalo Garcia will not leave

However, in a fresh update, Guillermo Rai of The Athletic reports that Real Madrid have ruled out the possibility of loaning Gonzalo Garcia out in January.

This is despite the club receiving approaches for the 21-year-old forward, including one from Getafe, who wanted to sign him in the summer as well.

Gonzalo enjoyed his breakthrough in the summer when he finished as the top scorer at the FIFA Club World Cup, making a big impression on Xabi Alonso.

Following his exploits, Real Madrid shut the doors on a summer exit and offered him a new contract and a first-team number.

However, since the start of the campaign, minutes have been difficult to come by for the Spaniard.

Gonzalo has played only 134 minutes across ten games for Real Madrid this term, averaging 13 minutes per appearance, and has only one assist against his name.

However, with Endrick set to depart in January, Los Blancos are reluctant to let Gonzalo leave as well. Alonso fully intends to keep the 21-year-old striker in his squad, and as such, there will be no loan departure for the La Fabrica talent in the winter.
