USC men's basketball has started off the 2025-2026 season strong, getting out to a 7-0 record, including winning the Maui Invitational championship last week. It appears as though the national audience has taken notice, as for the first time under head coach Eric Musselman, the Trojans are ranked in the top 25.
USC came in at No. 24 in the latest AP Poll. It is the first time that the Trojans are ranked in the poll since November 2023, early on in Andy Enfield's final season as the program's head coach.

USC will open conference play this week with games at Oregon on Tuesday and home against Washington on Saturday. After a successful first month of the season, the Trojans will now have the opportunity to prove themselves against Big Ten competition.
