This week the Pittsburgh Steelers square off against the Baltimore Ravens with the lead in the AFC North on the line. The Ravens are going to hope to run the football right down the throats of a questionable Steelers run defense. A run defense made worse by the absence of rookie defensive tackle Derrick Harmon. Harmon missed last week's game against the Buffalo Bills with a knee injury and head coach Mike Tomlin has already ruled him out for this week's game as well.
Harmon has been a key to the Steelers defense this season despite missing the team's first two games of the year with a different knee injury.
Fellow rookie Yahya Black started in place of Harmon and will do the same this weekend. Black played well in Harmon's place but where Black is more of a power guy on the inside, Harmon's athleticism is what makes him a more complete defensive lineman. Harmon's absence also exposed how thin the Steelers are at defensive line.
