There was a small silver lining in the Los Angeles Rams' shocking Week 13 loss to the Carolina Panthers. According to head coach Sean McVay, the team didn't sustain any major injuries that will force players to miss Week 14.

McVay told reporters Monday that the Rams "came out fairly clean” in the injury department, with the exception of some minor ailments that shouldn't affect players' availability for the team's next game against the Arizona Cardinals.

All things considered, this is a huge boon for L.A. While the team played fairly on offense, a lot went wrong both in terms of turnovers and on defense. With no new wrinkles needed, the Rams can focus on shoring up the problems that plagued them in Week 13 and instead strategize for taking down the NFC West rival Cardinals.

Additionally, the Rams should get back receiver Tutu Atwell, who was set to return in Week 13 from injured reserve but was not activated before the game. His presence should open up more for Matthew Stafford and the offense.

The defense needs to get its act together, though. After weeks of playing like the best unit in the league, L.A.'s secondary was torched by Bryce Young through the air and the defensive front was battered by the Panthers' running game.

Fortunately, no new injuries mean the team doesn't have to make many personnel changes. Schematically? That's another story.
