World record holder Armand Duplantis has confirmed he will return to the London Stadium for the first time in eight years when he competes at the London Diamond League in July.
The Swede, a two-time Olympic gold medallist in the pole vault, has won multiple titles at world and European level.

He first appeared at the London Stadium in 2017, when he finished ninth at the World Athletics Championships at the age of 17.
A year later, he finished third at the Anniversary Games behind USA's Sam Kendricks and France's Renaud Lavillenie.
"It's been too long since I last competed in London," said Duplantis.
"My first ever World Championships was at the Olympic Stadium in 2017 and although I was still pretty inexperienced, I could appreciate the incredible atmosphere, so it means a lot to me to go back.

Duplantis will aim to beat the meeting record of 6.03m which has stood since 2015 and was set by Lavillenie of France.
The one-day tournament, which includes 15 events across track and field, will be held in the capital on 18 July 2026.
