Nasser Al-Khelaïfi Meilleur Président au Golden Boy 2025
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has been named best club executive at the Golden Boy 2025 awards. Following his triumph, the businessman was visibly fired up.
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi clinched both the best president and best club of the year (PSG) trophies. The Qatari executive didn’t hide his emotion upon receiving these two accolades at the Golden Boy 2025 ceremony. “Unfortunately, on the night of the gala (editor’s note: tonight at 6 p.m.), I have a commitment with the EFC. I also tried to juggle both by taking a private flight. I’m truly sorry I can’t be there in person, but Doué and Campos will be present. We’ve had a fantastic season and, as a club, we’ve reached a significant milestone that crowns the work of the past two or three years. This is the best season in the club’s history, but more important than the results is the way we achieved them. We are extremely proud of our approach and our victory. I think that’s what mattered most to us: the way we won and how we transformed the club. We’re very proud of where we are now, because the journey hasn’t been easy, but we’re staying on course, without changing. Our philosophy must be to win collectively, as a group, by developing our young players, thanks in particular to the best coach in the world, Luis Enrique.”, said PSG’s leading man.
The Parisian president displayed well-deserved pride upon receiving the Golden Boy: “We want to have the best players in the world, our young talents, to develop our youth teams and thus secure the club’s future—not just today’s results, which are obviously important, but above all the future of the club. That’s why I truly appreciate this distinction. This recognition rewards both my work and that of the entire club. At Paris Saint-Germain, we always aim to think differently, to stand out: we have big ambitions and we don’t follow others. Football means everything to us. But we are also much more than just a football team. We focus on sport, health, and education. From the Academy youth to the men’s and women’s first teams, we want to develop good players but also educated players, instilled with PSG’s values. And today, you see the result: an extraordinary sports complex that’s also a true center of learning. The future of Paris Saint-Germain will be born and built here; it won’t be bought, it will be ‘Made in Paris’ for Paris. I’ve said that the real star of Paris Saint-Germain is the team, on and off the pitch. When we work together, this is what we achieve.”
