Georgia Bulldogs cornerback Daniel Harris intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, per reports. Players can't officially enter the portal until January, but a lot of players will be making their intentions known over the next several weeks as college football's massive roster shuffle begins.
Harris, a former four-star recruit, began the season as Georgia's starting cornerback opposite of All-SEC pick Daylen Everette. Harris eventually lost his starting role to Demello Jones and Ellis Robinson over the course of the season. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound junior is a physical presence on the outside, but he struggled to consistently make plays on the ball over the past two seasons.

Harris' transfer does not come as a big surprise, but the timing could be problematic for Georgia's defensive back depth. Harris is Georgia's No. 4 or No. 5 cornerback right now, but his experience and ability to be in the right place to make a play will be missed.
It is unclear if Harris will play for Georgia in the SEC championship against Alabama or in the College Football Playoff.
