FORT WORTH, TX – The Cincinnati Bearcats and TCU Horned Frogs are in a lightning delay at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

With 7:58 to go in the first quarter, after a 47-yard punt by UC's Max Fletcher, lightning was spotted in the area and both teams were sent to their locker rooms. Fans were also told to evacuate the stadium, though some remained in their aluminum seats.

At kickoff, the sun was out and it was 68 degrees. A weather statement via The Weather Channel said a thunderstorm would impact the area through 4 p.m. Central (5 p.m. Eastern).

TCU leads the game 7-0, scoring on a Josh Hoover to Joseph Manjack IV pass with 9:51 to go after UC gave them a short field by not making a fourth-and-one at their own 34-yard line.

Lightning procedure
