On Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers placed starting left tackle Broderick Jones on Reserve/Injured list. This means Jones will have to miss the team's next four games before being eligible to return. This puts Jones regular season in jeopardy. Here are three things this move could mean for the Steelers the rest of the season.
Andrus Peat in the starting lineup
We expect Peat to start at left tackle so that Spencer Anderson can maintain his role as the team's sixth offensive lineman in the heavy sets. Next up would be veteran Calvin Anderson if Peat struggles.

The team named Aaron Rodgers the starting quarterback earlier this week but with his injured wrist, the offensive line cannot let him take too many hits. Without Jones in the lineup, that job just got a lot harder so look for lots of help on the left side to keep Rodgers clean.
A last-minute addition
If things don't go well this week with who the Steelers have, they could bring in some vets for a tryout. There isn't much to choose from so the team might scour opposing practice squads for some talent they could bring on board.
