Georgia Bulldogs four-star tight end commitment Kaiden Prothro has made high school history in the Peach State. Prothro, who is a pursuing a fourth straight state championship, is now Georgia's all-time leading touchdown receiver (career).
Prothro, a member of the class of 2026, plays high school football for Bowdon High School in Bowdon, Georgia. He has 63 career high school touchdown receptions (and counting) from 2022-2025. Prothro passed Jaden Gibson, a former Gunner Stockton target and current Samford receiver, for the most career receiving touchdowns in Georgia high school history. Gibson had 59 career touchdowns. Third in Georgia high school history is Jacksonville Jaguars receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter with 48 career touchdown receptions.

The 6-foot-6, 210-pound tight end recruit is ranked as the No. 35 prospect in the class of 2026 and the fourth-ranked tight end. Prothro is the fifth-best player in Georgia, per 247Sports.
Prothro plays basketball and baseball in addition to football. Prothro is a star basketball player for Bowdon and posted a 30-point, 20-rebound game last year.
Prothro and Bowdon won a Class A state championship in Georgia during the 2024 high school season. Last year, Prothro posted over 1,200 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns.
