During his two stints in Philadelphia, C.J. Gardner-Johnson developed a reputation as a playmaker and a big hitter. He's never been as successful in other cities, but thanks to his time with the Eagles, he'll forever own a Super Bowl ring.
That's something that no one can ever take away from him. Not now.. Not ever... He has also more than earned his reputation as a trash-talker. One of the more outspoken personalities in the game today, Gardner-Johnson has been known to burn more than his fair share of bridges.

Gardner-Johnson did what he does. He decided to twist the knife while most of the fan base and media try to come to grips with the fact that, despite its talent, Philadelphia's offense is in shambles.
What can one say? Not only are the Eagles playing poorly. They're also a laughingstock. We've long known there was no hope for this offense as currently constructed.
Kevin Patullo will be the scapegoat. He'll play the role of sacrificial lamb. Some of that he deserves, but the facts are the facts. This is equally on Nick Sirianni. This is his offense.

Don't look now, but there's a chance we could see a different division winner again. There's a ton of football left to play. Nothing has been decided. Welcome to every Eagles fan's nightmare.
