I’m still getting caught up on the things I missed while in Maui (there’s a football game today?!) and was encouraged to see that women’s hoops put together a couple of good performances offensively while in Cancun for Thanksgiving. These games were only available on FloSports so roughly six people saw them, but hey.
NC State posted a 53.0 eFG% in a 12-point win over Green Bay that was still very much in doubt in the third quarter, led by Zoe Brooks’ 21 points and Zam Jones’ 17.
The second game was over pretty much immediately, as State began on a 11-0 run, won the first quarter 30-9, and led by 34 at halftime. That’s a bit more like it.

(Stay tuned to the end of the highlights for a clip from a completely different game!)
State has three non-conference games left, all against teams in the Torvik top 60, highlighted by the road trip to Oklahoma on Wednesday. December is going to be an important month for this group, and hopefully they can show continued progress against the Sooners.
