With footage that won't just show the concert and its behind-the-scenes mechanics, The End Of An Era's trailers have hinted that there will be far more footage of Swift and Kelce both together and separately than fans would have anticipated.

From getting behind-the-scenes glimpses of Kelce's time at the Eras tour, both backstage with Swift and in moments with her family, it appears that he's a larger presence on screen.

That level of personal exposure is largely surprising for fans of Swift, who have long known that she chooses to keep her private life and romantic relationships as far out of the public eye as possible. Allowing cameras backstage itself isn't surprising for a tour docuseries, but Swift's allowance of the public seeing Kelce in more private moments suggests a much higher level of intimacy than anticipated.

"I was not prepared for this to be about Travis as much as it appears to be," Reddit user u/turniptoez shared, among voices of dissent.

"I want a behind the scenes from the tour. Not a behind the scenes from their relationship," u/Eidch15, one of many who feel strongly that the fact that Kelce is so heavily featured in the docuseries is going to pull focus away from the Eras tour itself. Many seem to have concluded that the docuseries won't focus enough on the music, artistry, and triumph of the tour.

While others seem excited to get insight into Swift's relationship, even if it's minor, it's clear that a significant portion of Swift fans are nervous about the idea that Kelce will pull the focus from the star of the show. While adding elements of humanization to the mechanical efforts of the Eras tour may be helpful for those trying to contextualize Swift, fans are struggling with the idea.

What makes The End Of An Era different from Swift's other documentary projects is more than the fact that it's a six-episode series. While Swift's previous documentaries have spanned the gamut of concert films to introspective looks into the price of fame, none have included much about her romantic life. Now, with what she calls "the most meaningful relationship of her life" in tow, Swift is opening up.

Swift's deep dive into the Eras tour is certain to honor the artistry and record-breaking nature of the long tour she spent years developing, but allowing it to move beyond a concert film means that her personal life will be involved. Including Kelce in the series may be a sore spot for some fans, but allows for a more complete picture of the Eras tour in the end.
