Lions highlight: David Montgomery scores a wildcat touchdown

The Lions arrived later for dinner, but they’re now at the table and chowing down.

David Montgomery got the Lions on the board after taking the direct snap on 3rd and Goal from the 3-yard line and running right up the middle into the end zone. Jake Bates’ extra point made the score 10-7 in the second quarter.

The play capped a 10-play drive that covered 65 yards and took 6:25 off the clock.

Montgomery is up to 14 yards on four rushes with the touchdown as the Lions look to keep pace with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North.
