It's fair to say that the Boston Celtics are surprising some people with their strong start to the 2025-26 NBA season. Joe Mazzulla's team is eighth in the Eastern Conference, having won 10 of its 18 games so far. And, while this younger version of the Celtics is still learning how to stack wins together, there's clearly some growing excitement surrounding the team.
Nevertheless, there's still a sizeable segment of the fanbase that would prefer the team stop focusing on trying to secure wins, and start chasing a high-level lottery pick. After all, the Celtics, as currently constructed, is not a championship-level team. Therefore, some believe the franchise would be better served by prioritizing the 2026 NBA draft rather than an early postseason exit.

The duo weighed both sides of the argument before sharing their personal stances on whether the Celtics should continue to focus on winning or shift toward the draft.
