Pacheco came down with the knee injury in Week 8 and hasn't taken the field since. Pacheco did manage to log one full practice last week, but he followed that up with two limited sessions before being ruled out for the game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Pacheco was practicing once again this week ahead of the Week 13 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Here's a look at his status for Thursday.

When it comes to his workload, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said he wasn't sure what that would look like.

"We'll get him in there," Reid said, per ESPN's Nate Taylor. "How much? I can't tell you that right now. We'll see how it goes."

It has been a tough season for Pacheco, who ranks as RB48 overall in fantasy points per game.

A big reason for his lackluster production has been the fact that he has been sharing work with Kareem Hunt, which figures to continue. Hunt has also been more productive, ranking as RB28 overall in fantasy points per.

If you're looking for justification to start Pacheco, it comes in the matchup. The Chiefs running back squares off against a Cowboys defense ceding the 10-most fantasy points per game to the position this season.

But we also have to worry about Pacheco potentially seeing a limited workload after missing multiple weeks due to injury.

There's just too much at play to feel comfortable with Pacheco in lineups this week. With no teams on bye, you should be able to find a more reliable option.

Verdict: Sit
