Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel gave his take on fellow Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix's most recent performance against the Kansas City Chiefs, ahead of their Week 13 matchup against the Washington Commanders.
Daniel had been critical of Nix in recent weeks, but against Kansas City, he saw marked improvement. "(The Broncos) have put themselves in such a great position," said Daniel. "Bo Nix; man, thought this was one of his better games he's played this year." Nix went 24-of-37 for 295 yards, with no touchdowns, and most importantly, no turnovers.

"I think that (Nix is) starting to play a lot better. Look, this offense at some point this year, they're going to have to score 30 points and I think they're doing a really nice job right now of figuring out the best way to use their weapons."
Daniel mentioned Nix's improved footwork several times throughout his analysis, which had been a point of emphasis of Nix's for the majority of the season. Daniel thought Nix's calm demeanor in the pocket allowed him to complete several passes down field, and create big plays for an offense which has struggled at times to get things going. Denver ended up winning the game, 22-19, in large part due to Nix's play under center.
