JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — ETSU men’s basketball ran away with a 97–55 win over Louisiana-Monroe on Sunday to close out the multi-team even weekend. The 42-point margin is the Bucs’ largest against a Division I opponent in nearly eight years.
Four Buccaneers scored in double figures, led by Jaylen Smith’s 15 points. ETSU shot 59% from the field, hit 11 threes, and controlled the glass 42–25 while turning 13 Warhawk turnovers into 21 points.
