Bucs cruise to dominant win over ULM, 97-55

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — ETSU men’s basketball ran away with a 97–55 win over Louisiana-Monroe on Sunday to close out the multi-team even weekend. The 42-point margin is the Bucs’ largest against a Division I opponent in nearly eight years.

Four Buccaneers scored in double figures, led by Jaylen Smith’s 15 points. ETSU shot 59% from the field, hit 11 threes, and controlled the glass 42–25 while turning 13 Warhawk turnovers into 21 points.

The win moves ETSU to 5–1 on the season and extends its hot start with a fourth straight victory.
