Sunday wasn’t a good day for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Not only did they blow a 21-point lead in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys … but they also witnessed the Los Angeles Rams dominate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (interesting to see that the Rams actually tried to add to their 21-0 lead in that game).

The combination of these outcomes means that the Birds no longer control their path to the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff picture.

The Eagles now need to find a way to make up a game with six left to play.

Let’s take a look at the remaining schedules for these teams.

EAGLES REMAINING SCHEDULE

Week 13 vs. Chicago BearsWeek 14 at Los Angeles ChargersWeek 15 vs. Las Vegas RaidersWeek 16 at Washington CommandersWeek 17 at Buffalo BillsWeek 18 vs. Washington Commanders

RAMS REMAINING SCHEDULE

Week 13 at Carolina PanthersWeek 14 at Arizona CardinalsWeek 15 vs. Detroit LionsWeek 16 at Seattle SeahawksWeek 17 at Atlanta FalconsWeek 18 vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Rams could very well lose a game or two; the Lions and Seahawks back-to-back will be interesting to monitor. But can the Eagles take care of business on their own end? That much remains to be seen. They do have winnable games on paper; Philly has the ninth-easiest remaining strength of schedule in the NFL. The Rams have the 12th-easiest.

Here’s the entire current NFC playoff picture.

PROJECTED PLAYOFF TEAMS

DIVISION LEADERS

1) Los Angeles Rams: 9-22) Philadelphia Eagles: 8-3^ 3) Chicago Bears: 8-3 4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 6-5

^The Eagles currently hold a conference record win percentage tiebreaker over Chicago: 7-2 > 5-2. The Eagles and Bears play each other in Week 13, so, a head-to-head tiebreaker will likely be established.
