Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott put on a show against the rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

Prescott threw for 354 yards and two touchdowns against the vaunted Eagles defense, and he also added another touchdown on the ground. His production helped propel the Cowboys to a thrilling 24-21 comeback victory after trailing 21-0 in the first half of the contest.

Dak Prescott becomes Cowboys' all-time leading passer

In the process of leading the Cowboys to their second consecutive victory, Prescott also made some major franchise history by passing Tony Romo to become the all-time passing leader in Cowboys history.

Romo threw for 34,183 yards in a Cowboys uniform. Prescott has now thrown for 34,378 yards and counting over the course of his career. Troy Aikman is third in franchise history with 32,942 yards.

While he was eclipsed in the passing yards category, Romo still holds Dallas' record for most career passing touchdowns with 248. After the win over Philadelphia, Prescott has 236 career tossing touchdowns, so it likely won't be long until he passes Romo in that category, too.

Ironically enough, Prescott wasn't the only quarterback to make franchise history in the game between Dallas and Philly. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts also passed Carson Wentz for fourth-most passing yards in Eagles franchise history. Hurts threw for 289 yards and one touchdown against Dallas' defense.

Prior to the game against Philadelphia, Prescott expressed gratitude about being in position to became Dallas' all-time passing leader.

"I'm humbled," Prescott said. "Thankful to be healthy and to be in this position to do it. ... When you've played in this game long enough and you can stay healthy, with my expectations of what my play is, that's supposed to happen. So just thankful, humbled, super grateful to be playing a game I love at this high of a level."
