The Dallas Cowboys were not ready to play on Sunday. From the players to the coaching staff, the club made nothing but mistakes to start the game. Whether it was the decision to go for it from midfield on their opening possession, failing to challenge a blocked punt, fumbling without being touched or end-zone interceptions, they did everything they could to walk out of AT&T Stadium effectively eliminated from the playoff race.
Then they fixed it. The defense, which has undergone a serious personnel transformation over the last few weeks with trades and returning injured players, kept the Eagles from scoring on their final eight possessions. Dak Prescott and the offense fought and fought and fought, themselves mostly, but somehow scored 24 straight points including a game-winning, 42-yard field goal from Brandon Aubrey.

This is the first time the Cowboys have won two games in a row all season and the first time they've beaten a team that was over .500.
The club, already working on a short week, will have to turn around and play in just three days when they host the 6-5 Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving.
