Pacheco sustained a knee injury in the Week 8 win over the Washington Commanders that has kept him sidelined since.

In what is a good sign for his outlook moving forward, Pacheco was able to practice this past week and even turned in one full session before closing out the week with two limited practices and being ruled out.

Here's what we know about Pacheco's chances of playing in Week 13.

When is Isiah Pacheco coming back?

Pacheco was initially considered week to week with his injury, which is an MCL sprain.

Given the fact that the Chiefs didn't put him on injured reserve, the expectation is he won't need to miss more than three games. Adding to that, Pacheco's ability to take part in practice this past week gives more optimism for his Week 13 status.

However, the variable here is that the Chiefs have a short week because they play on Thursday night in Week 13, so that's something to keep in mind.

All that said, we'd say Pacheco has a better than 50/50 shot to play on Thanksgiving.

The Chiefs will drop their first Week 13 injury report on Monday and head coach Andy Reid will address the media on the same day, so we'll know more than.
