George Pickens had to know it was coming. On Saturday, it did.

The Cowboys wide receiver gave everyone a good chuckle on Monday night when he leaped onto the goalpost after scoring a 37-yard touchdown in the team's 33-16 win over Las Vegas.

The move earned a quick flag for unsportsmanlike conduct and backed up Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey for an extra-long PAT. It will now also cost Pickens $26,085 for what the league considers the illegal use of a prop.

Pickens has been fined for unsportsmanlike actions in four of the Cowboys' ten games thus far, totaling $78,567.

"I don't know what made me jump on the goalpost," Pickens explained with a sheepish grin after the game, "but ain't going to do that again."

Pickens won't be the only Cowboys player to cough up a little cash for taking things too far. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown has been dinged $8,166 for unnecessary roughness for a late hit on the next play from scrimmage after Pickens's touchdown. Overshown dumped Raiders running back Raheem Mostert well out of bounds after a 4-yard pickup; that hit did not draw a penalty from officials on the field.

One other memorable play during the Monday night game resulted in a fine for the opposition.

Raiders defensive end Malcolm Koonce will fork out $12,172 for striking Cowboys left tackle Tyler Guyton. That bit of unnecessary roughness occurred with 1:55 to play in the first half. It did draw a flag, but the penalty was declined in favor of a longer defensive pass interference call that gave Dallas better field position.

Replays showed Koonce take a clear and obvious shot directly to Guyton's facemask after the play was over, but the 322-pounder made sure officials saw it by dramatically flopping backward to the ground.
