The Tennessee Titans host the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, at 12:00 p.m. CDT.

The Titans and Seahawks both enter the game coming off disappointing losses against division rivals in Week 11 and will be looking to get back into the win column. The Titans enter the game with some injury and depth concerns. And on paper, this looks like a tough matchup ahead.

The Seahawks present many potential problems for the Titans on Sunday, so we went behind enemy lines with our counterpart, Kole Musgrove at Seahawks Wire, to gain some insight into what is going right and what is going wrong with the Seahawks ahead of this Week 12 matchup.

Sam Darnold has been playing at an extremely high level, but had a rough outing in Week 11. Any concern that he will continue those struggles, or was it a one-game hiccup?

Sam’s outing against the Rams was the game everyone feared would eventually materialize… and it’s “fitting” it happened against the team that knocked him out of the playoffs last year, giving everyone said fear of a meltdown game. Full circle, I suppose. Sam has been turning the ball over at an alarming rate. Over the past 4 games he has 9 turnovers, which now has him tied with Tua for most in the league (14). I think there’s still concern, but there is hope that he can right the ship. Overall he’s been playing at an incredibly high level, so there’s trust in this coaching staff to get him back on track.

What does Rashid Shaheed add to the offense?

Well, it’s hard to say, because they haven’t really used him much. He’s been used as a gadget guy to run plays or end arounds. It’s a little shocking since he knows Klint Kubiak’s system from their time in New Orleans last year. We're hoping they will eventually find a way to get him worked into the offense.

Jason Smith-Njigba is having a tremendous season, is it more him or Darnold?

A little bit of both. Darnold is operating this offense efficiently (mostly) which involves getting the ball to his playmakers… namely: JSN. The Seahawks rolled the dice on him being a legitimate No. 1 target this year when they traded DK Metcalf, and their faith in him has been rewarded.

How has Ernest Jones fit in since he was acquired from the Titans in 2024?

Ernest Jones has been a legitimate game changer on defense, something this unit has been missing without Bobby Wagner. He immediately fixed the run defense, and his leadership cannot be quantified. Mike Macdonald even joked once that he thinks the team listens to Ernest Jones more than they do him!

Do you think the Titans will be able to handle the Seahawks' edge unit? And is that the key to the game?

No one but Tampa has had an answer for the Seahawks' defensive line, and I don't think the Titans are going to change that, sorry to say. Cam Ward might as well start icing now because I think this is going to be a particularly brutal afternoon (or morning, for those of us in the Pacific Northwest) for him in the pocket.
