Clemson returns to Memorial Stadium this afternoon with a straightforward mission. A win over Furman would secure bowl eligibility for the 21st consecutive season, keeping one of the longest active postseason streaks in college football intact. The Tigers enter Week 13 at 5-5, and although the year hasn’t unfolded the way many expected back when the season opened against LSU on August 30, they still control their path toward extending that streak.
Last Friday’s 20-19 victory at Louisville kept those hopes alive. Adam Randall powered the offense with 105 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, while Cade Klubnik threw for 187 yards and completed 22 of his 34 attempts. Clemson will look for that same balance and efficiency as it wraps up its home schedule.

Quarterback Trey Hedden was sharp with 275 passing yards and two touchdowns, both caught by Evan James, who finished the afternoon with nine receptions for 70 yards.
Today marks the 59th meeting between Clemson and Furman. The Tigers lead the all-time series 44-10-4 and have taken the last 32 matchups, including a 35-12 win in 2022 during their previous meeting in Death Valley.
Clemson will try to close out its home slate on a high note, become bowl eligible, and set the tone heading into the final week of the regular season.
