Ryan Murphy's worst show is number #1 on the Disney/Hulu charts. The new show All's Fair follows a group of female lawyers as they leave their male-dominated firm to start their own. Determined to allow women to win their cases, the ladies of All's Fair are willing to do whatever it takes to make the men in these cases suffer. Think of a "girl power" show from the early 2010s and that's what this show is doing and we have evolved past that kind of storytelling. Yet audiences are apparently eating it up given the show's streaming success. At least in this show, Kim Kardashian gets to be a lawyer.
Kardashian plays Allura Grant on the "Rotten" show (it debuted with 0% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics and has since gone up to 3%). And her acting is about as wooden as you would think. Which makes it all that much worse when she's facing off against Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, Teyona Taylor, and Glenn Close in the series. It is a slew of powerhouse female performers and then Kardashian all in scenes together and even that isn't enough to carry the wooden dialogue of All's Fair.
Like any Murphy and Ian Brennan show, All's Fair uses pop culture references, bad jokes, and all star talent to try and sell audiences the story they're attempting to sell. The issue with All's Fair is that it doesn't know what tone it wants to be. Imagine if Scream Queens and Nip/Tuck had a baby that was somehow more convoluted and messier than Glee. That's what you're getting with All's Fair and yet audiences can't seem to get enough (it has a 65% RT score for audiences).
Maybe Stop Hate Watching Ryan Murphy Shows?

Everyone loves a good hate watch and for many, it is watching any Murphy production and trying to navigate what he was attempting to do. But the issue with All's Fair is that it isn't hard to figure what the show was meant to be. The execution is just incredibly wrong and bad. There isn't even a redeeming part in the rest of the cast because Murphy and Brennan make these iconic women say the most baffling things. But hey, people are seemingly watching the show given its number one spot on Disney+ and Hulu.
If you are interested in All's Fair, it is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
