Missouri vs Oklahoma best bet

Missouri +7.5 (-120 at FanDuel)

Looking at the Sooners’ losses, they did not manage a touchdown against Texas and averaged 1.75 points per quality drive against Mississippi. In last week’s upset of Alabama, they again averaged 1.75 points per quality drive. That can be survived when the defense scores, but I'm expecting Missouri to play it safe, protect the ball, and see how Oklahoma reacts.

Rutgers vs Ohio State best bet

Over 55.5 (-110 at FanDuel)

The Buckeyes will blow out Rutgers, and while the Ohio State defense might be the star of the show, the weakness of the Scarlet Knights' defense also means that the No. 1 team in the nation will light up the scoreboard early and often.

Miami vs Virginia Tech best bet

Miami -18.5 (-105 at FanDuel)

The Hurricanes are the vastly superior team, and they need style points to boost their chances of an at-large bid in the College Football Playoff. The Hokies are 2-8 ATS this season and were just blown out 34-14 by Florida State. The going doesn’t get any easier in Week 13.

Baylor vs Arizona best bet

Arizona -7.5 (-105 at FanDuel)

Arizona has leaned on its ground game more in recent weeks, particularly when recognizing a matchup edge. It genuinely ran through both Colorado and Cincinnati, and embarrassed Kansas between those two. The Wildcats should run all over the Bears, quite possibly turning the second half into a blowout.

Washington State vs James Madison best bet

James Madison -19.5 (+180 at FanDuel)

Betting this alternate spread is betting that the Dukes will not consider giving up a late, meaningless score. The scoreboard optics matter too much to them. Washington State lacks any particular strength, and while the Cougars are still alive for a bowl game, the more important item for them is next week, facing Oregon State for a second time this season.
