Mercedes has been summoned to the Formula 1 stewards for not submitting set-up documents in time for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
It relates to a set-up sheet that all teams must submit for both of their cars, as per Article 40.1 of the 2025 championship’s sporting regulations.

But the stewards stated Mercedes had not submitted the sheet by 8:12pm local time in Vegas, despite qualifying having started at 8pm.
A team representative must therefore report to the stewards at 9:45pm locally, and it is not yet entirely clear what a punishment may be should the summons go further.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Mercedes
This comes after a mixed qualifying for Mercedes, whose drivers George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli respectively took fourth and 17th.

It was a tricky session given the wet conditions, which caught out rookie Antonelli, who claimed he was fast on his final lap in Q1 but took extra precaution.

The last lap was going to be good enough for top five and I took some margin in the last braking, just to avoid any bad surprises, and just still ended up locking up and losing the lap, and got knocked out.
“Two laps before I was in P5, I think, and then obviously to end up P17 is very frustrating.”
