Pokémon's Generation 10 is expected to debut with the series' next mainline games now that Legends: Z-A has been released. While we're still waiting on the Mega Dimension DLC for Z-A, prominent Pokémon leakers have been hard at work drip-feeding hints about Gen 10, supposedly called Pokémon Wind and Waves, and the latest bit of info teases what appears to be a massive open world.
Centro LEAKS recently shared a sketch detailing what the Gen 10 map supposedly looks like. The new region, based on Southeast Asia, comprises "around 30 islands on the (beta) map," according to their own reply. The recreation depicts roughly half of that, showing the general layout of the larger islands, which seem to be arranged in the shape of a vertical infinity symbol. This tracks with Centro LEAKS' previous claims, where the concept of "infinity" is Gen 10's central theme.
Pokémon's Leaked Gen 10 Map Could Be Huge

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were the first games in the series to be truly open-world with a contiguous map, and it would appear Gen 10's Wind and Waves will build on this trend. Pokémon already has an archipelago region in Alola, introduced in Gen 7's Sun and Moon and based on Hawaii, but the currently unnamed region for Gen 10 appears to be a much larger tropical setting.
Centro LEAKS' drawing is quite basic, and seems to be from memory of seeing an early iteration of the Gen 10 map. It shows a large, northeastern island as mountainous, while its opposite in the southwestern corner is a desert. Two islands in the center of the archipelago – one large and one small – are depicted as volcanic.
Pokémon Wind And Waves Leaks Are Everywhere
As we presumably approach an official announcement of Pokémon Wind and Waves (if those titles are indeed correct), leaked information on Gen 10 keeps coming. Centro LEAKS has continued to tease what they know about the next mainline games, including how the new titles will iterate on the Ride mechanic. Similar to Sword and Shield's Rotom Bike, Wind and Waves will supposedly feature a Rotom Scooter.
The Rotom Scooter adopting the moves of the Pokémon you "connect" it to indicates that it will be the method by which you traverse the ocean between the games' many islands. It's widely believed that Gen 10 will be exclusive to the Switch 2, since the next spin-off, Pokémon Pokopia, is releasing only for Nintendo's newest console. Pokémon appears to be on a trajectory of continuing to grow in map size, and a massive open-world archipelago in Gen 10 will likely be its biggest yet.
