The 2025 season has been a disappointment for the Tennessee Titans, and with every passing week, it appears that they are destined to earn the first overall pick in the NFL draft for the second straight season. The Titans sit at 1-11 and are the only NFL franchise with one victory this season.

Heading into the home stretch of the season, many fans have already turned their attention to the offseason and the draft. Tennessee has a ton of questions that must be answered and even more holes on their roster that have to be addressed for the Titans to get back on track and be competitive.

While their 2025 draft class appears to be a great start at infusing talent, general manager Mike Borgonzi will have his hands full rebuilding the unit from the ground up and will need as much draft capital as possible to speed up the process. That is the exact scenario that Dane Brugler embraced in his latest mock draft for The Athletic, having the Titans trade the first-overall selection for a package of draft picks.

In his mock draft, Brugler has Tennessee trading its top pick to the Cleveland Browns for both of their 2026 first-rounders (and probably a 2027 Day 2 selection) so the Browns can land their franchise quarterback. With the move, the Titans would pick No. 5 and No. 26 in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft, allowing them to address multiple needs.

5. Tennessee Titans (from CLE)*: Keldric Faulk, edge, Auburn

With substantial holes across their roster, the Titans are a near-lock to trade down if they end up with the No. 1 pick.

One of the areas where they need reinforcements is on the edge, where Faulk shows a ton of promise. He is an impressive athlete, at 6-6 and 270 pounds, with the point-of-attack strength to create movement and shed blocks. Because of his young age, football character and sky-high tools, Faulk has a profile that is very similar to that of Mykel Williams from last year’s class.

Edge is a significant need for the Titans, who have struggled to generate consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks in 2025. Faulk is a bigger edge prospect who fits the stature of the current crop of edge players on the roster and will add a dynamic player to the group, but that pick is also based on Dennard Wilson’s scheme.

With Tennessee also in the midst of a head coaching search, projecting which prospects will fit into their system at this point is difficult, but Faulk is a player with the traits and upside to excel in multiple schemes.

While edge is a significant need, finding Cam Ward a dynamic outside threat also ranks high on the priority list, and Brugler has the Titans addressing that with their second first-round selection.

26. Tennessee Titans (from CLE via JAX)*: KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

Upgrading the offense around QB Cam Ward will be the Titans’ highest priority this offseason.

Whether lined up outside or in the slot, Concepcion is a dangerous snatch-and-go receiver who ranks top 10 in the FBS in yards after catch per reception (7.6). Adding a high-upside pass rusher and an electric pass catcher, as the Titans have done in this mock, would be a great step forward.

Concepcion is an intriguing prospect who has a dynamic skill set and has proven to be a problem in two different college football conferences. At 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, he might lack the prototypical size, but he is a matchup nightmare and electric threat who could complement promising rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike on the outside and give Tennessee a true difference maker to develop alongside Cam Ward.
