Ryan Murphy's next TV show, The Beauty, now has a premiere date. The creator/director/producer/writer has had a busy 2025, with shows like Mid-Century Modern, 9-1-1: Nashville, Monster: The Ed Gein Story and All's Fair debuting throughout the year, not to mention returning series like 9-1-1. Murphy isn't slowing down anytime soon, with 2026 set to premiere more new shows, including The Beauty and Love Story.

The first three episodes of horror series The Beauty will premiere Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 9 p.m. EST on FX and Hulu with cast members Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Ashton Kutcher and Rebecca Hall. Disney+ will be the streaming platform for international viewers.

After the three-episode premiere, one new episode of The Beauty will be released each week, with two episodes dropping during the final two weeks of the season. The first season will consist of 11 total episodes.

Several famous faces will make guest appearances, including Amelia Gray Hamlin, Ari Graynor, Bella Hadid, Ben Platt, Billy Eichner, Isabella Rossellini, Jaquel Spivey, Jessica Alexander, Jon Jon Briones, John Carroll Lynch, Julie Halston, Lux Pascal, Meghan Trainor, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Peter Gallagher and Vincent D’Onofrio.

The Beauty is a horror/thriller series, a genre that Murphy is very familiar with from series like American Horror Story and Grotesquerie. He co-created and executive-produced the show, and wrote the scripts with Matthew Hodgson. Other executive producers include cast members Peters, Ramos and Pope, along with Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, Michael Uppendahl, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Gitter, Peter Schwerin and Jeremy Haunt.

Jason A. Hurley, who co-wrote the comic books that the TV show is based on, is a consultant on The Beauty.

In Murphy's brand-new series The Beauty, Peters and Hall star as Cooper Madsen and Jordan Bennett, two FBI agents tasked with solving the mystery behind the murders of several supermodels. Along the way, they discover that a virus is turning people into seemingly perfect specimens, but the repercussions are truly horrifying.

Kutcher plays a tech billionaire known as The Corporation, who creates a miracle drug called The Beauty. Madsen and Bennet become targets as The Corporation attempts to keep his empire intact. The agents travel across the world to cities like Paris, Rome and New York City to solve the murderous mystery and save humanity.
