The Ohio High School Athletic Association Division II football state championship between Anderson and Avon kicks off at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, in Canton.
Spectrum News 1 will air the game on television, but fans without Spectrum can view the game for $9.99 on OHSAA.tv. Spectrum video customers can also view the game for free in the Spectrum News App.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAnderson seeks its second state title in program history, with the previous championship coming in 2007. The matchup against Avon is a rematch of last year's state championship, which Avon won 20-13.
Spectrum News 1 will also broadcast the other state championship games, including St. Xavier vs. Olentangy Orange. Those matchups will take place Dec. 4, 5, and 6.
