Tabuteau committed to Vanderbilt's 2026 class in June. He attends the McCallie School.

Tabuteau is the second recent decommitment for Vanderbilt, with quarterback Michael Mitchell Jr. also decommitting in November and flipping to Stanford.
The 12th-ranked Commodores finished the 2025 season 10-2, 6-2 in the SEC.
