Michigan State football got their first win in over two months on Saturday night, defeating Maryland, 38-28.

A critical moment in that game was when Alante Brown took a kickoff back 92-yards to the house. Midway through the third quarter, with Maryland holding all of the momentum, the kick return touchdown halted anything the Terrapins wanted to do.

That momentum spark from Brown was exactly what MSU needed to propel themselves to be in a position to win the game.

For his effort inside of Ford Field, Brown was named the Big Ten's Co-Special Teams Player of the Week, sharing the honor with Oregon kicker Atticus Sappington.
