A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he's an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, '70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, '90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they're good, and maybe even more when they're bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed "Canuxploitation."
An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

Going Dutch, Denis Leary's hit military sitcom, is coming back for a second tour of duty. The series, which premiered on Fox as a mid-season replacement earlier this year, will return for its second season next month, and Collider has an exclusive look at the new season's key art. Season 2 of Going Dutch premieres on Fox on Thursday, January 15, 2026, and will stream the next day on Hulu. The new poster features Leary front and center as Colonel Jack Quinn, an old-school military man whose career advancement has been halted by his unfiltered mouth. He's saluting while knee-deep in tulips, representing the ultimate result of his latest caught-on-camera rant: a mission to take command of Garrison Stroopsdorf, the least important Army base in the world.
It has a world-class commissary, a gourmet fromagerie, and a teen center, but what it doesn't have is discipline, combat-readiness, or, initially, weapons (they were under the Christmas decorations). Aiding (or hindering him) in his quest to whip Stroopsdorf into shape are his staff, who are all also featured on the poster: his aide-de-camp Abraham Shah (Danny Pudi, Community), conniving supply sergeant Dana Conway (Laci Mosley, Scam Goddess), slovenly computer expert Elias Papadakis (Hal Cumpston, The Artful Dodger), and the colonel's own estranged daughter, Maggie Quinn (Taylor Misiak, Dave), who's more like her hard-charging father than either would care to admit.

In the series' pilot, Colonel Quinn is gleefully exiled to Stroopsdorf by his longtime rival, General Gerald Davidson (Joe Morton, Scandal). Despite being aggrieved by the state of the base and its personnel, the presence of his daughter, and the Dutch in general, Quinn soon finds himself reluctantly enjoying his tour of duty in the Netherlands, especially after he nearly steals a tank and inadvertently kills the country's last living Nazi. It doesn't hurt that he finds himself romantically entangled with Dr. Katja Vanderhoff (Catherine Tate, Doctor Who), an advocate for the local sex workers. However, by season's end, he breaks things off with Vanderhoff but resigns himself to staying at Stroopsdorf.
This season, another sitcom veteran is set to recur on Going Dutch. Kristen Johnson, who won two Emmys for her work on Third Rock From the Sun, will play General Martin, a top-ranking Canadian NATO officer. Maggie invites her to Stroopsdorf with the intention of making Martin her mentor, but is horrified when the general makes a romantic connection with her father, instead.
Season 2 of Going Dutch premieres on Fox on Thursday, January 15, 2026, and will stream the next day on Hulu. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.
