Alabama defeated Auburn, 27-20, on Saturday night in the latest edition of the Iron Bowl.

The victory clinches a SEC title game berth for Alabama, and potentially a berth in the College Football Playoff. There were some great performances in all three phases by the Crimson Tide, as well as some big plays at key moments. This was a great team victory for the Crimson Tide.

Below are Roll Tide Wire's players of the game vs. Auburn in the Iron Bowl.

Offensive player of the week: Jam Miller, Running Back

Jam Miller had one of his best games of the season Saturday. He ran for 15 carries and 83 yards with an average of 5.5 yards per carry. This was the exact type of performance Alabama needed from him. His efforts allowed Alabama to sustain drives and grind the clock. Even Ty Simpson only had 122 yards passing. That being said, Simpson did not have to have a high volume day because they ran the ball so effectively. Jam saved one of his best performances for one of their most critical games.

Defensive player of the week: Bray Hubbard, Safety

Bray only had two solo tackles. However, he single-handedly won the turnover battle for Alabama. He made the game's only interception, and forced a fumble on a late fourth quarter drive. Bray consistently makes plays like this for the Tide. He makes game changing plays that can alter the outcome.

He is a turnover machine in the defensive backfield. On the season, he's had four interceptions and three forced fumbles. Bray may be an All-American at the end of the season. He epitomizes the swarm in Kane Wommack's 4-2-5 swarm defense. He flies around and alters the offensive game plan.

Special teams player of the week: Conor Talty, Kicker

Conor Talty scored nine points Saturday. He made a 29 and 45 yard field goal, and was 3-of-3 on extra points. This was a great bounce back game after Conor had struggled with field goals outside the forty yard range all season. Also, after he had been booed for missing a chip shot field goal against Eastern Illinois. Coaches even put in the back up kicker against Eastern Illinois, so it was hard to know who would actually be kicking for them. Kudos to Conor for having the mental fortitude to bounce back and have one of his best games when it mattered most.
