The Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers are all competing for the division, but how do the standings look after the first slate of games in Week 13?

Let's take a look at the NFC West standings after the 49ers' victory over the Cleveland Browns and the Rams' loss to the Carolina Panthers.

NFC West standings

1. Los Angeles Rams (9-3)

2. San Francisco 49ers (9-4)

3. Seattle Seahawks (8-3, will play Minnesota Vikings in Week 13).

4. Arizona Cardinals (3-9)

Despite San Francisco picking up a victory over Cleveland and Los Angeles falling to Carolina, the Rams are still in first place in the NFC West due to having fewer losses than the 49ers.

The Seahawks will also be unable to take first place from the Rams this week, either, even if they beat the Minnesota Vikings. Los Angeles has the head-to-head advantage over Seattle after defeating them in Week 11.

With the Rams losing, the 49ers extending their win streak to three, and the Seahawks still being very much in the mix, the NFC West is going to be a tightly contested battle till the very end. Though Los Angeles is still in first after Week 13, there is still a lot of football left to be played.
