The Georgia Bulldogs moved up to No. 3, and Oregon Ducks rose to No. 4. Texas Tech Red Raiders jumped to No. 5, which is their best ranking since 2008.
Meanwhile, Texas A&M Aggies dropped from the top five to No. 7 after a 10-point loss at Texas Longhorns. The once unbeaten SEC team will also watch Georgia and No. 10 Alabama duel for the SEC Championship.
The poll shake-up sets up marquee conference title games this week outside the Big Ten and SEC. Texas Tech and No. 11 BYU will fight for a Big 12 crown. Also, unranked five-loss Duke will try to upset No. 16 Virginia in Charlotte for the ACC title.
