The Auburn Tigers host the Mercer Bears in Week 13 of the College Football season, looking to gain confidence ahead of next weekend's showdown with No. 10 Alabama at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Fans attending Saturday's game will be treated to comfortable conditions, but will need to keep rain gear handy. According to Accuweather, the morning tailgate forecast calls for a 50% chance of thunderstorms at 6 am and 9 am, with the temperature rising to 75 degrees at noon. The temperature will increase to 76 degrees at kickoff, with a 50% chance of a thunderstorm. The rain chance will decrease to 30% throughout the game, with the temperature evening out at 75 degrees. Winds will blow west at 9 miles per hour, with gusts reaching 17 miles per hour.

Auburn is fresh off its bye week and is ready to play in front of its home crowd against Mercer. True freshman Deuce Knight will get the starting nod at quarterback, with Jackson Arnold expected also to see action. Auburn hopes to gain confidence and avoid an upset bid by the Southern Conference champion Mercer Bears, who enter the game with a 9-1 record and an explosive offense.

Auburn faces Mercer at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday. The game will air on SEC Network+ from Jordan-Hare Stadium.
