The Boston Celtics will have to face the Cleveland Cavaliers this Sunday (Nov. 30) down several key players according to the injury report released by the team's PR team this afternoon. In the wake of the Celtics' 119-115 road loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday (Nov. 29) night, Boston announced that starting Celtics center Neemias Queta will not suit up due to what the team is describing as 'left ankle sprain injury management'.
But the bad news does not stop there, with Boston also listing star guard Derrick White as out for the game against the Cavs with a right calf contusion, of course joining star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum as out as the St. Louis native continues to recover from the torn Achilles tendon he sustained vs. the New York Knicks in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals.
