According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Olave, after days of concern, had his status for Week 13 confirmed. Olave is active and will play for the Saints.
Saints get good news on Chris Olave for Week 13 matchup vs. Dolphins
Tyler Shough is getting his number one receiver for this Week 13 matchup. If Olave were out, then the Saints would've been severely limited in their wide receiver room.
Devaughn Vele, Mason Tipton, Kevin Austin Jr., and Dante Pettis would've been the only wide receivers on the Saints roster for Week 13, with Rashid Shaheed in Seattle, Brandin Cooks cut, and Olave out.

Instead, Olave is active and will help a depleted offense against a Dolphins defense that has dealt with a plethora of injuries to their defensive backfield this season.
Olave has 69 receptions for 734 yards and four touchdowns this season. He's been the top receiver in New Orleans all year and is looking like an extension candidate at some point in the next few months before the 2026 season.
Getting Olave active for this matchup, after the mid-week injury scare, is great news for the Saints offense, missing Kamara and dealing with some wide receiver questions.
