The New Orleans Saints enter their Week 13 matchup against the Miami Dolphins down one of their top offensive weapons in Alvin Kamara. After a knee injury during Week 12 knocked out for the game he's now out for Week 13's matchup.

With the Saints down their top running back and Keandre Miller on Injured Reserve, the Saints need to use a different crop of players in the ground game. Two players are poised for that role.

According to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, the Saints are going to turn to rookie running back Devin Neal and veteran gadget player Taysom Hill to carry the ball against a weak Dolphins defense.

Why Devin Neal & Taysom Hill will take over Saints' backfield with Alvin Kamara out

When asked by a fan who will carry the ball for New Orleans against the Dolphins, Underhill answered, "Neal and probably Taysom."

New Orleans is without their top two running backs this week, leaving Neal as the clear top back. He's going to get the bulk of the work out of the backfield, and while New Orleans might not have a strong ground game regardless, he's going to be the lead back.

But while Neal is the lead back and will get the bulk of the work, Hill will also be getting some touches. In Week 12, he carried the ball 10 times, the most of any Saints player, and more than one-third of the Saints' rushing attempts.

Neal and Hill will likely split the backfield, with Audric Estime and Evan Hull not being utilized as much as normal backup running backs.

New Orleans has a decent matchup against a weaker Dolphins run defense, and they will lean upon Neal and Hill in this Week 13 matchup.
