Harper (left calf strain) returned from a 10-game absence on Wednesday, recording seven points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals during a win over the Portland Trail Blazers. He went 2-of-8 from the field in 16 minutes, 31 seconds off the bench.
The Spurs plan to gradually increase his workload on the court after missing nearly one month of action. Spurs coach Mitch Johnson noticed that Harper is still working to get back into complete game shape, joking that he was "fried" after the game on Wednesday.
