On July 17, 2026, Matt Damon finally takes the leading role in a Christopher Nolan movie, starring as the legendary Greek king of Ithaca in the historical epic The Odyssey. The film also stars Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, and John Leguizamo, with recent images showcasing Pattinson, Zendaya, and Damon in action. As excitement for The Odyssey builds, one of Damon's most famous leading roles is heading to a new streamer in time for a festive binge-watch.
This December 1, you can catch four of the Bourne movies on Starz. Including the franchise's first installment, The Bourne Identity, 2004's The Bourne Supremacy, 2017's The Bourne Ultimatum, and 2012's The Bourne Legacy — with the latter starring MCU alum Jeremy Renner and not Damon — the quartet of pulse-racing action flicks is sure to keep you entertained during this holiday period, offering an antidote to the oversaturation of bright Christmas colors and festive cheer. To give you a taste of the action to come for those yet to venture into the game-changing world of Bourne, the synopsis for the first movie reads:
"A man, salvaged, near death, from the ocean by an Italian fishing boat. When he recuperates, the man suffers from total amnesia, without identity or background, except for a range of extraordinary talents in fighting, linguistic skills and self-defense that speak of a dangerous past. He sets out on a desperate search-assisted by the initially rebellious Marie, to discover who he really is, and why he's being lethally pursued by assassins."
How Much Did the Bourne Movies Make at the Box Office?
Also including 2016's Jason Bourne, which sadly isn't joining the December Starz line-up, the entire Bourne franchise has earned an enormous $1.6 billion at the box office. With a combined production budget of $520 million, the franchise tripled its total investment across the board, confirming its status as one of the most successful action brands of the century so far. The award for the highest-grossing film of the bunch goes to 2007's The Bourne Ultimatum, with $444 million in ticket sales earned thanks to viewers flocking to see the culmination of a trilogy of fast-paced action.
Four Bourne movies are coming to Starz this December. Make sure to stay tuned to Collider for all the latest streaming stories.
