After that it was about ending the Gamecocks winning streak. Or winning to ensure the Tigers maintained an undefeated season or playoff hopes. But now we’ve got two teams just playing out the string. The Gamecocks are just trying to get to the end of another disappointing season. And Clemson already has bowl eligibility wrapped up, so this is about finishing 6-6 or 7-5. Though getting back to winning ways would be nice. But that would require Clemson learning to tackle, something that doesn’t seem likely.
It’s really a case of if Clemson can contain Sellers. If the Tigers can do that this will be an easy win. If they have a repeat performance of last year. Or really half the games this yea, then it is going to be a nightmare of an afternoon. The only positive will bet that it’s over before dinner. On Offense I think the Tigers should find success regularly. However they probably won’t be able to score at will.
