The future of the Batman family has just been forever changed, with a new member added that will give Bruce Wayne the most difficult battle of his life. If fans thought that Bruce would have a tough fight against his son Damian, all grown up into his very own Batman, just wait until he meets his future grandson.
Batman Meets His Grandson, The Son of Damian Wayne?
DC K.O. Knightfight #4 by Joshua Williamson, Dan Mora
Batman plays with his grandson as an oldeer Damian Wayne Batman looks on in DC KO Knightfight #4 Comic Cover
The current DC K.O. event has sent Batman into an alternate timeline where Nightwing became Batman... after Bruce killed all his other Robins. But the cover art for Knightfight #4 promises a very different shock when Bruce meets the adult, Bat-version of Damian Wayne. A surprise meeting with Damian's future son, and Bruce Wayne's grandson.
The reveal comes courtesy of DC's February solicitations, and while the cover art doesn't officially confirm the boy is Damian's son, the image speaks for itself. Bruce on the ground playing, the boy's 'Robin' themed shirt, as Damian looks on with his version of a smile. Of course, the synopsis teases this glimpse of happiness isn't meant to last:
Bruce Wayne became Batman to strike terror into the hearts of criminals, but he never imagined a world where Gotham City would be so safe it no longer needs its Caped Crusader. But when he arrives in a Gotham where Damian achieved that very peace, will Bruce destroy everything his son has built to overcome the Heart of Apokolips’s test and re-enter the K.O. tournament?
More to come.
DC K.O.: Knightfight #4 will be available on February 4, 2026 from DC Comics.
