The folks over at Pro Football Network have put together a full seven-round mock draft for the 2026 NFL draft and you know we have to dig into the picks for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The belief has been for some time that if the Steelers trade up in the first round it would be to pick a quarterback. But in this scenario, the trade-up isn't about a quarterback but is still lands the Steelers an offensive playmaker.
First round - WR Jordyn Tyson - Arizona State

Third round - OL Fa'alili Fa'amoe - Wake Forest
Third round - DB Xavier Scott - Illinois
Fourth round - OT Tristan Leigh - Clemson
Fourth round - S Jalen Huskey - Maryland
Fifth round - EDGE Romello Height - Texas Tech
Sixth round - RB Robert Henry Jr. - UTSA
Sixth round - LB Bryce Boettcher - Oregon
Seventh round - DT DeMonte Capehart - Clemson
Seventh round - TE Jaren Kanak - Oklahoma
With the top three quarterbacks in the draft long gone, it makes a lot of sense for the Steelers to go for the top wide receiver in the draft instead. Ohio State's Carnell Tate was selected before Tyson but make no mistake, Tyson is an elite player and a day-one starter.

Instead of taking Height in the fifth round, taking a flyer on LSU's Garrett Nussmeier with that pick makes a lot more sense. Or better yet, take a shot on Clemson's Cade Klubnik in the seventh round instead of Kanak. In fact, I'd be good with taking both and letting the coaches sort that out.
