Walker suffered the injury during the first half of Jacksonville's win against the Los Angeles Chargers last week, forcing him to limp off the field during the first half.

However, Walker returned to action and finished off the game. But he missed multiple days of practice this week and is now in jeopardy of missing the game this week.

Travon Walker injury update

Walker suffered a knee injury in last week's win against the Los Angeles Chargers. He limped off the field, but returned to action to finish off the contest.

He's missed multiple days of practice throughout the week, putting his status in jeopardy. Walker already has battled through a wrist injury this season, needing surgery to allow him to return to the field.

He wore a club to protect the medically repaired wrist, but has since moved on to wearing a brace on the wrist.

Walker's game status is up in the air after missing multiple days of practice this week. He's started seven of Jacksonville's nine games this season, missing time due to having surgery on his wrist.

But he may miss the upcoming game after suffering a knee injury last week against the Chargers.

What Jaguars coach Liam Coen said about Travon Walker's knee injury

While he didn't officially rule Thomas out, head coach Liam Coen did provide some insight to which way the team is leaning.

Coen spoke at length about the various ways they could replace Walker if he can't play. They'll lean on veteran defensive lineman Dawuane Smoot as well as rookies Danny Striggow and BJ Green.

"We're going to need those guys again this week to continue to elevate and step up," Coen told reporters. "Just go be creative, go be yourselves. We see it every day with BJ and Danny on the show team. Really looking forward to them taking another step in their development."
