NORMAL — The Illinois High School Association has rescheduled two of its postponed football championship games for Tuesday, Dec. 2, according to a Friday night release.
The IHSA will play the Class 5A and 6A championship games at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hancock Stadium, on the campus of Illinois State University. The time and location of the 7A and 8A games is expected to be announced Saturday.

The four championship football games, originally scheduled for Saturday, were postponed earlier Friday because of a snow storm expected to hit Illinois over the weekend.
“There are still some logistical hurdles to clear in regard to the rescheduling of the Class 7A and 8A games,” IHSA executive director Craig Anderson said in a release. “It is our intention to have that finalized by Saturday evening. We appreciate the patience and support of the competing schools and our partners at ISU and in Bloomington-Normal as we navigate this unprecedented situation.”
